Hardwood flooring in Lakeland, FL

We install new hardwood flooring throughout Lakeland and the rest of the Tampa, FL & surrounding counties area. What we don't offer here is hardwood refinishing — sanding and recoating an existing solid wood floor. That service depends on solid wood sitting over a wood subfloor, and it's something we only run in our Metro Atlanta, GA market, where that combination is common. Lakeland homes are overwhelmingly built on concrete slab, so refinishing simply isn't part of the picture down here.

Wide-plank white oak is the look we install most in this market — it reads clean in the newer open floor plans around Grasslands and still fits the character of an older Dixieland home. Darker walnut tones show up more in formal living and dining rooms, while lighter, more matte finishes tend to hide the everyday dust and pollen that comes with Florida living.

It starts with a free in-home estimate: we bring physical wood samples so you can see them in your own lighting, measure every room by hand, and check your subfloor and moisture conditions. From there you get a written quote, not a rough guess.

Once you approve the project, our own employed installers — not subcontracted labor — handle the removal of old flooring, subfloor prep, moisture barrier if needed, and the install itself, with trim and transitions finished out at the end.
