Frieze carpet has a twisted, textured pile that hides footprints and vacuum marks well, making it a popular choice for busy family living areas. Loop pile is more durable and often used in high-traffic basements or stairs, while plush pile gives the softest feel underfoot and tends to go in primary bedrooms.

Padding thickness and density matter as much as the carpet itself — thicker padding feels nicer but isn't always right for stairs or high-traffic zones, where a firmer pad actually holds up longer.

It starts with a free in-home estimate — we bring carpet and padding samples, measure every room, and talk through pile type based on the room's use before giving you a number in writing.

Once you approve, we schedule removal of the old flooring, haul it away, and our own crew installs and stretches the new carpet, finishing with clean transitions at doorways and stair edges.
